OK on Deep Elem Blues but I don't have the Charlie Daniels guitar solo at all,
Columbus Stockade Blues-doing it since I was 13 but not bluesy more the original way,
Deep River Blues--I will check this out,
Knocking on Heavens Door- of course in G but OK in any key,
Take me to the River--will check this out also,
The Thrill is Gone--Bm
Stormy Monday--we might want to stay away from that as a group jam.  I have played it with several good guitarist and there are several iterations and different phrasings.  If someone wants to just do it with some rhythm from Billy or a harp accompanying that would be awesome.

Some thoughts on easy songs:
99 Years and 1 Darn Day
Floating Bridge
Hot Corn Cold Corn (so Billy can work out on his stump fiddle)
C'mon in My Kitchen
CC Ryder  (only a couple versus but lots of opportunity for harp solos)
Gotta Travel On--if it isn't limited to Blues, a simple to play quick/fun song
High Heel Sneakers (old rock but 12 bar)
King  Bee
Walking By Myself (Chris' go to)
Rock Me Baby

Just a few that might help us mix it up over a couple nights.

I'm getting older and slower and so is my music.  How about some good harp work on Trouble in Mind? I find my mind singing that while I work on projects around here.  Probably something psychological there but let's not probe.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ish9BCyjQ3Q

That’s okay, no one will notice as we all move slower at the Bean....

Great song by the way!

Great song, lots of good versions out there. I particularly like Nina SImone's version.

But if you want to jam, the best is Muddy Waters version of it. Straightforward, easy to hear the changes. Lighning Hopkins can be hard to follow.

12string suggests HIgh Heel Sneakers. A great old tune from Tommy Tucker. Basically as fast Jimmy Reed shuffle. Give it a listen, I swear they speed up the tempo each verse!

Check this out - another suggestion by 12 string. CC Ryder by the Band. Rick Danko singing lead with Levon Helm backing him up. Cool!

Paul, Gary and I play the Nina Simone version too. All of those rockabilly tunes, CC Ryder, Red Dress, High Heel Sneakers, Shake Rattle and Roll, Blue Suade Shoes, etc.. are standards at jams. Easy stuff too, 12 bars blues. (Same key too if I remember correctly. Our uke group mashes a number of those up as a medley)

I tried to keep my list playable for the evening jams.  We can always dig into other songs but that tends to leave some harp and guitar players on the sidelines.  Plenty of time for those around our camp, afternoons and so on.  I do want to entice Jim McB into Stand By Me.  I like that song. I do the bass run on guitar while I play it but it just ain't the same as a bass.  Dock of the Bay would be fun also but not a big Wednesday night jam song I don't think.
