One must acknowledge reality. Franklin County, Virginia claims to be the moonshine capital of the world. But, following the Folk Life Festival at the end of October, we met at friend David's for music, food, adult beverages, more food, more music and so on.  Among these experts, I produced a Crown Royal bottle of apple 'shine originating from a good Indianapolis friend.  My homies raved, raved about it! Compared it to the best ever made locally, tooo smooth, can you get more?  One enthralled expert offered me one large, $100, for the remaining half of the bottle.

Yes, we have an expert among the Bean crowd!  Congrats Joe! Oh, no I did not sell it. We drank it...all.

Just got back from a week in Hong Kong and Shenzhen China. It was business, but had some good food!

Still playing bass, but decided to start playing harmonica again. Been practicing a little and getting the gear together. I think I'll haul that big old heavy Fender Blues Deluxe out the the local blues jam and have some fun. [Chris will want to add a smart a$% comment here about a Double Trouble amp ...]

Maybe Chris's Double Trouble will make an encore visit to the 2019 Bean! You just never know Jim!

Craig and I met Kenny for lunch in Indy a couple of weeks ago. It was great visiting with Ken and Sandy for the day.

Bruce, you did the right thing with that bottle! It's best shared amongst friends.

Sitting here enjoying my morning ritual, coffee and 1950 Perry Mason re-runs! Love seeing those old cars.

My best to all.

Ken, back in my substance abuse counseling days, I used biofeedback as a centering exercise.  Your music would be excellent for that therapy.

Good deal.  Had not thought about music in cancer therapy.  Biofeedback has been used by some in cancer treatment and recovery for decades.  Some think it is hokey. but I see the music as a important additive to medical treatments.
